Staff Nurse / Senior Staff Nurse (Nurse First) *Only Singaporeans*

Family Group: Nursing

You will be part of the Nurse First team to provide advice over the phone to our patients. Your duties will include the following:

  • Identify key reason for call encounter and direct callers to appropriate care settings for clinical enquiries
  • Obtain history and information, assess and evaluate patient’s acute medical concern over phone to determine appropriate site of care according to established guidelines and protocols
  • Provide clinical advice to callers based on their needs
  • Maintain accurate records of all call encounters and document all enquiries
  • Ensure calls are attended to and followed up in atimely manner
  • Participate in ongoing audit and improvement of Nurse First
  • Report the department’s clinical and service performance and patient outcome/performance indicators as set
  • Involve in other duties as assigned


Requirements

  • Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
  • Preferably with 1-2 years of working experience in handling multi-channels (eg voice, email, video, chat)
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle stressful situations.
  • Ability to use good judgment in assessing difficult customer situations.
  • Able to perform 2-rotating shifts as the hotline operation hours are from 8am to 11pm, daily from Monday - Sunday
