About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate nurse to work at our Radiology and Executive Health Screening Centre (EHS). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent nursing care to patients undergoing radiology procedures and health screenings. The role will require coordination with other healthcare professionals, the ability to work independently, and attention to patient needs.

This role is based in DA Orchard MedSuites, Singapore

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for radiology procedures and health screenings, including administering necessary medications, recording vital signs, conducting patient assessments and blood taking.
  • Assist radiologists/radiographers with procedures such as and not limiting to X-rays, mammograms, and CT scans.
  • Educate patients about the procedures and address any concerns they may have.
  • Ensure that all equipment is working correctly and adequately maintained.
  • Maintain patient records and documentation accurately.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care including reviewing of health screening results with patients.
  • Provide follow-up care, including monitoring for complications or issues.
  • Order and maintain inventory of medical supplies and materials.
  • Adhere to established protocols, policies, and procedures in providing patient care and enforcing infection control.

About you

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing with valid SNB license
  • Experience in a radiology and Health Screening Centre setting preferred
  • Knowledge of radiology equipment and health screening procedures
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, empathy and compassion for patients
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new skills and stay current with nursing practices
