Job summary

Singapore National Eye Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse to support ophthalmic procedures and perioperative care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will coordinate surgical instruments, assist anesthesia, scrub, circulate and recover patients, and maintain infection control standards. Proficiency with Sunrise Clinical Manager is a plus.

On-call, weekend shifts and overtime may be required, contributing to safe patient care and ongoing clinical improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing is required.
• Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board.

Responsibilities

Job Descriptions:

• Perform a variety of nursing, opthalmic procedures and safety compliances in accordance to established guidelines, policies and procedures
• Coordinate and prepare surgical equipment, instrument and consumables specific to the daily surgical list and preferences of surgeon
• Participate in assisting of safe anaesthatic care for general, regional and deep sedation of anaesthesia
• Perform scrubbing, curculation and recovery duties
• Provide pre & post operative care for patients
• Carry out proper housekeeping in accordance to Infection Control Standards
• Updates work processess accurately in the digital operating theatre system/Sunrise Clinical Manager
• Conduct inventory checks on medication supplies, general and subspecialties consumables in the assigned work area in accordance to established guidelines
• Timely escalation and submission of documented Incident Reporting Form to Nurse Clinician/ Senior Nurse Manager
