Qualifications

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Staff Nurse (Oncology) will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Patient-Centered Care

  1. Enhance concierge services, optimize patient experience, and promote holistic, evidence-based care.

Oncology Specialised

  1. Demonstrates nursing competencies for oncology patients in a specialized Oncology Clinic.
  2. Participate in consultations with radiation oncologists and be capable of doing the required tasks.
  3. Maintain and care for tools and supplies such as the emergency trolley, oxygen tanks, medical supplies, clinic supplies, and blankets.
  4. Exhibit assurance and competence when preparing patients for all radiation therapy procedures, including cannulation, CT simulation, radiation therapy treatment, and post-treatment.
  5. IV cannulation / Blood taking for patients.

Other ad hoc roles assigned by RO.

Requirements:

  1. Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse in Singapore.
  2. Valid nursing licensure with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) and appropriate certifications.
  3. Bachelor's degree or diploma in nursing.
  4. At least 1 year of oncology nursing experience.
  5. Valid BCLS and AED.
  6. Able to perform Cannulation.
  7. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
