Job summary

Job description

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate the total nursing care for an assigned group of patients, as well as perform a wide variety of nursing procedures and patient education that meet patients’ needs. You will have opportunities to work in the Cardiothoracic Surgery wards/Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Cardiology wards/Coronary Care Unit (CCU). You will be required to perform shift work. The work schedule and hours will be discussed and planned with successful applicants based on mutual agreement, although we would need successful applicants to work at least 2 days per week.

Job Requirements

  • Registered Nurse or Nursing qualification recognised by the Singapore Nursing Board with at least 1-2 years’ nursing experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Documented proof of:
    • i. Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and
    • ii. Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act with effect from 3 January 2022. Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they undertake to complete the vaccination(s) before work commencement upon successful interview and are offered employment
  • We regret that only applicants who have been fully vaccinated for Covid-19 (according to MOH’s definitions) will be considered due to exposure risk
