Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Nursing Officer to perform home visits for chronic ill and palliative patients in the East with transport claimable. You will conduct nursing assessments, coordinate with doctors for medical evaluations and follow-ups, monitor medications, and perform procedures as required.

You will initiate and implement care plans and educate caregivers to ensure continuity of care at home. On-call duties apply after hours with compensation included.

Qualifications

Min. Diploma/ Degree in Nursing.
Valid SNB & BCLS.
Palliative/Home care trained nurses.

Responsibilities

To perform home visits to chronic ill/ palliative patients who are being referred.
To perform nursing assessment on the patient.
To coordinate with doctor for medical assessment and follow-up visits to patient.
To monitor current medication and compliance as prescribed by the doctor.
To perform nursing procedures such as wound dressing, insertion of urine catheter, insertion of naso-gastric tube and care of tubings as required.
To initiate nursing care plan and implement new measures of management.
To educate caregivers/families on basic nursing procedures to ensure continuation of care at home.

Job description

Location: East (Transport claimable)
Salary: Up to $3900 (Basic) + Oncall allowance
Working hours: Mon to Fri, 8.30am-5.30pm, for on call - only need to call patients, no face to face visits
