Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a nurse to assist the Medical Director in ophthalmic procedures at their centre. This role involves supporting laser refractive procedures, maintaining surgical stocks, and ensuring the operating theatre's sterility. Candidates must be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board and have prior experience in an ophthalmic or surgical setting.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of nursing experience in an Ophthalmic/Surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Medical Director in consultations and procedures.
• Maintain stocks and inventory of surgical consumables.
• Ensure instrument sterility in the operating theatre.

Job description

• Assist the Medical Director in the consultation room and procedures both in & outside the Centre.
• Assist in laser refractive procedures and other minor procedures.
• Maintain stocks & inventory of surgical consumables and upkeep of operating theatre and instrument sterility.

• Fully registered with Singapore Nursing Board
• At least 2 years of nursing experience in Ophthalmic/Surgical setting
