Job summary

Job description

Location: Jurong East
Salary: Up to $2,700/month
Working Hours: 42 hours/week

• Weekdays: Staggered hours between 8:00am – 6:00pm
• 1 Saturday every 3 weeks: 8:30am – 12:30pm

Key Notes

• This role is not a typical PSA position – it involves both counter duties and hands-on patient care, similar to PCA/HCA responsibilities.
• Candidates must be comfortable with direct patient handling and mobility support.
• Good performers may be trained to progress into a Junior Cardiac Technician role.

Job Description

• Attend to patients’ needs, especially those with fall risk, cognitive impairment, or dementia
• Transfer/lift patients (wheelchair to couch, assist to toilet, etc.)
• Manage and schedule inpatient, outpatient, and ad-hoc cases
• Monitor patients pre-, during, and post-procedure
• Maintain department inventory and records
• Set up and maintain filing system and ensure work area cleanliness
• Support the Cardiac Diagnostic Laboratory Team as directed by Supervisor

Job Requirements

• Nitec/Diploma in a Science-related course (mandatory)
• Comfortable with direct patient contact (including assisting with toileting, transfers, etc.)
