Job summary

KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Staff Nurse in the Department of Child Development on a contract basis to support management of children with developmental delay in outpatient settings.

You will perform baseline screenings, communicate with clients to assess needs, provide counseling and education, ensure follow-up actions, and maintain documentation in IT systems. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth department operations.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or diploma with current registration
• Clinical knowledge and ability to teach others
• Strong communication and patient-care skills

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage care for children with developmental delay in outpatient settings
• Perform baseline screening of children with developmental delay
• Communicate with clients to identify and assess needs
• Provide counseling and education to clients and ensure follow-up actions
• Ensure proper documentation of all activities in IT systems or case notes
• Adhere to hospital and department nursing procedures, standards and practices
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Nurse Manager
• Demonstrate self-direction, teaching and communication skills for department operations
