SINGAPORE EYE ENTERPRISES PTE. LTD. is recruiting a full-time nurse for our specialty eye clinic in Singapore.

The role includes patient care, pre-consultation testing, ophthalmic investigations and assisting ophthalmologists in minor procedures. The ideal candidate speaks English and Mandarin and enjoys interacting with patients. Experience in eye care is helpful but not essential; a positive, cheerful disposition and willingness to learn are important qualities for success in this

Qualifications

• Must have English language skills and be confident in communicating with patients.
• Mandarin fluency is required for bilingual interactions with clients.
• Experience in eye care is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is crucial.
• Bright, cheerful attitude when interacting with patients is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and basic pre-consultation evaluations (visual acuity, IOP, color vision).
• Conduct ophthalmic investigations (biometry, visual field, retinal imaging).
• Assist ophthalmologists in simple procedures (chalazia incision, pterygium surgery, AC paracentesis, lasers).
• Set IV lines for angiography when needed.
• Perform administrative tasks like scheduling, surgery listings, and insurance claims.

Job description

We are a specialty eye clinic that is looking to hire a nurse for the following roles

• 1. Patient care
• 2. Basic pre-consultation evaluation ie visual acuity testing, IOP measurements, colour vision testing
• 3. Ophthalmic investigations eg. biometry, visual field, retinal scans, imaging
• 4. Basic ophthalmic procedures in the treatment room eg. eye toilet, lid hygiene
• 5. Assist ophthalmologists in simple procedures eg. incision and curretage of chalazia, pterygium surgery, AC paracentesis, lasers
• 6. Set IV lines for angiography
• 7. Adminstrative work such as scheduling, listing for surgery and insurance claims

We are looking for a dedicated nurse to join our team full time

We are hoping for someone with

• 1. Some experience in eye care - but this is not absolutely essential, so long as the individual is keen to learn and acquire new skills
• 2. Speak English well and confidently
• 3. Speak Mandarin fluently
• 4. Be bright and cheerful with patients
