Position: Staff Nurse
Responsibilities
  1. Clinical Nursing Quality and Safety
  2. Provide consistent, excellent clinical and service quality to residents and sponsors.
  3. Ensure clinical quality guided by the 4 Zeros indicators: Zero Falls, Zero Medication Errors, Zero Pressure Ulcers, Zero Infections.
  1. Clinical Care
  2. Deliver safe care and clinical decisions for residents.
  3. Perform assessments, administer medications, injections, wound dressings, and monitor vital signs.
  4. Manage medication ordering, packing, and preparation.
  5. Maintain accurate nursing documentation per Ministry of Health requirements.
  1. Clinical Supervision
  2. Supervise staff in accordance with ENHS guidelines, protocols, and SOPs.
  3. Mentor new staff nurses and junior staff to ensure compliance with SOPs.
  1. Residents’ Activities
  2. Plan and document daily activities for residents.
  3. Assist physiotherapists and encourage resident participation in rehabilitation programs.
  1. Resource Management
  2. Manage food costs by minimizing waste and monitor use of supplies.
  3. Maintain inventory control with regular inspections.
  1. Medical Matters
  2. Collaborate with doctors on treatment and management of residents’ conditions.
  1. Feedback Management
  2. Handle investigations and resolve feedback and complaints from centres.
  1. Other Duties
  2. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
  3. Coordinate with hospitals and sponsors on medical appointments.
  4. Ensure cleanliness of resident care areas.
  5. Act as a deputy in managerial absences.
  6. Maintain logs of daily activities and communicate effectively with residents and sponsors.
Qualifications
  • For local candidates: Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Nursing with valid license; SNB registration is an advantage.
  • For foreign candidates: Degree or Diploma in Nursing with Board Pass from the Professional Regulation Council.
  • State Registered Nurse with a valid practicing license issued by the Singapore Nursing Board.
  • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
  • Minimum 2-3 years post-registration experience; geriatric care experience is an advantage.
