Riot Games is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer for Animation in Singapore to enhance the animator's workflow by building innovative ML tooling. You will focus on motion processing and rig workflows while collaborating with a creative team.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Ph.D. and has deep expertise in animation ML techniques. This role promises a chance to directly impact player experiences and the animation pipeline.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, focusing on Machine Learning.
• Deep expertise in motion and character-animation ML, including motion synthesis and control.
• Minimum 5 years of Machine Learning application experience in Animation.

Responsibilities

• Build animation tooling to enhance animator workflows and reduce manual tasks.
• Collaborate with animators to minimize time spent on keyframing and cleanup tasks.
• Run evaluations for motion quality and quantify improvements for animators.
