Qualifications

Job Description
  • Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related qualification
  • Demonstrated relevant Electronics Product Design experience in areas such as:
  • Microprocessor/Microcontroller system design (preferably ARM processors)
  • Memory system designs
  • Logic Design for FPGA/CPLD/PAL devices
  • Ethernet and USB design, testing, certification
  • Digital electronics power supply circuits
  • Design tools for Schematic Capture and PCB Layout
  • EMI noise reduction techniques for PCB layout
  • Designing to EMC/EMI/ESD and safety regulatory certifications
  • Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, and Timing Analysis for Digital Circuits
  • Product testing for Environmental and Certification Test Standards
  • Experience in Functional Safety product development with IEC61508 (preferred)
Qualifications
  • Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience
  • Ability to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively
  • Establishes operational objectives and work plans
  • Interacts with peers and customers to gain cooperation and present complex technical information
  • Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise
