Job Description

In your new role, you will:

Project Management and Collaboration:

• Participate in project planning and scheduling.
• Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Oversee project direction, plan sprints, prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage implementation.
• Support procurement services and interface with government agencies, prime contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with program requirements.
• Multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Pay attention to detail and meet tight deadlines.

Facilities Engineering:

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components.
• Lead the Annual Plant Shutdown and plan shutdown activities.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Create schematics, diagrams, and other technical documentation.
• Perform calculations and simulations to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Stay current with emerging power system technologies and provide technical leadership on innovation and system improvements.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify root causes with the operations team.
• Develop and implement solutions to technical challenges.
• Conduct failure analysis and risk assessments.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of designs, specifications, and test results.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate technical findings.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this role if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field such as Facilities / Real estate management.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Electrical / M&E systems.
• Act as SME for Electrical systems.
• Possess a strong technical background with analytical and problem-solving skills, along with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety protocols.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in FSM / WEMP / SCEM is an advantage but not essential.
