Job Description
In your new role, you will:
Project Management and Collaboration:
- Participate in project planning and scheduling.
- Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Oversee project direction, plan sprints, prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage implementation.
- Support procurement services and interface with government agencies, prime contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with program requirements.
- Multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Pay attention to detail and meet tight deadlines.
Facilities Engineering:
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components.
- Lead the Annual Plant Shutdown and plan shutdown activities.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Create schematics, diagrams, and other technical documentation.
- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Stay current with emerging power system technologies and provide technical leadership on innovation and system improvements.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify root causes with the operations team.
- Develop and implement solutions to technical challenges.
- Conduct failure analysis and risk assessments.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of designs, specifications, and test results.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate technical findings.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this role if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field such as Facilities / Real estate management.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Electrical / M&E systems.
- Act as SME for Electrical systems.
- Possess a strong technical background with analytical and problem-solving skills, along with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety protocols.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in FSM / WEMP / SCEM is an advantage but not essential.
