Job summary

Ambiq Micro, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Staff Embedded Software Engineer, Imaging to lead the architecture, development, integration, and validation of the imaging subsystem software for Ambiq SoCs.

You will evaluate, port, and optimize firmware and device drivers for image processing, video, and camera interfaces across silicon and emulation platforms. Working with the SoC architecture, silicon design, and verification teams, you will support pre-silicon FPGA validation through post-silicon

Qualifications

• 6+ years of embedded software experience.
• 3+ years in embedded imaging, camera, or multimedia software.
• Strong C for embedded systems and ARM Cortex-M.
• Knowledge of MIPI CSI-2, I3C/I2C, and image pipelines.
• Experience with FreeRTOS/Zephyr or similar RTOS.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of the embedded imaging subsystem software for ARM Cortex-M platforms.
• Evaluate, port, optimize, or develop firmware and device drivers for image processing, video, and camera interface hardware.
• Enable image sensor integration by evaluating calibration, characterization, and quality tuning tools.
• Lead imaging subsystem software activities during pre-silicon FPGA verification and post-silicon bring-up, validation, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Support design verification, field applications engineers, and strategic customers during product development and deployment.
• Provide technical SME on imaging subsystem software architecture and implementation.
