Job summary

Ambiq is seeking a Staff Engineer, Analog Layout to drive the physical implementation of key analog subsystems, including PMUs, clocking, and data converters. You will translate circuit architecture into silicon-ready layout, meeting performance, area, matching, and reliability targets.

Collaborate with Analog Design and RTL/Physical Design teams to implement layouts for cutting-edge technologies (22nm, 12nm, and beyond).

Qualifications

• Experience across the full layout flow from floorplanning to tape-out.
• Strong understanding of analog circuit behavior and layout impact.
• Familiarity with parasitic extraction, LVS/DRC, and layout verification.

Responsibilities

• Partner with analog designers on chip- and block-level floorplanning and layout strategy.
• Drive layout architecture decisions balancing performance, matching, area, and reliability.
• Execute transistor-level analog IC layout with critical matching and shielding.
