Job summary

Grasshopper is a Singapore-based quantitative trading technology provider seeking a Network Engineer to join the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. You will help maintain high-performance network environments across global colocation facilities supporting trading operations.

The role emphasizes network automation (Python/Bash), IaC (Ansible/Puppet), and on-call reliability, with exposure to Arista, Cisco, and Juniper hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years as a Network Engineer with a focus on networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Support Low-Latency Connectivity across global colocation facilities ensuring trading-ready performance.
• Operate and troubleshoot wired/wireless network systems in enterprise setups.
• Contribute to network automation with Python/Bash and IaC tools (Ansible/Puppet).
• Assist in managing high-performance hardware (Arista, Cisco, Juniper) and security infra.
• Maintain documentation and participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 availability.
