MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SPECIFIC

1. Carry out the engineering maintenance programs on M&E services and non-clinical equipment.
2. Supervise the preventive maintenance works and breakdown repairs carried out by the contractors.
3. Commission new facilities and equipment.
4. Evaluate proposals by user departments to condemn facilities/equipment or carry out improvement works.
5. Update the maintenance and breakdown records into the computerised system.
6. Update changes to improvement works in drawings and manuals.
7. Maintain workshop facilities, tools, and test equipment.
8. Operate the Facilities Control Centre helpdesk and store as required.
9. Identify and initiate spare parts procurement.
10. Inspect, test, service, troubleshoot all facilities and equipment to maximize their availability.
11. Maintain the building's facilities and equipment to uphold the hospital's image.
12. Assist Engineers and Technical Officers.

GENERAL

1. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Head of Department.
