Job description

We require strong experience in core banking and/or private wealth management, specifically within Temenos T24 implementations. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 - 15 years of experience in Temenos T24 products, especially in Payments, Private Wealth Banking (Derivatives, Structured Products, Securities), Treasury Modules, and Financial Accounting.

Responsibilities

1. Lead cross-functional teams in the end-to-end delivery of complex banking software solutions involving Payment solutions.
2. Integrate modules in core banking such as Money Market, Forex, Derivatives, SWAP with Payments solutions.
3. Collaborate with external vendors for Design, development, and implementation of TPH.
4. Configure Business parameter tables. Validate L1, Change requests delivered by vendors, and raise defects if there are issues/bugs.
5. Design and implement KAFKA-based streaming architecture to enable real-time transmission of Payment events to downstream systems.
6. Define a Data contract for streaming CID and non-CID Payment events from Payment hub.
7. Define product roadmaps for major strategic and regulatory projects aligning with the Bank's software needs and market trends (e.g., SWIFT CBPR+, Local clearing - MEPS, HKCHATS, HKFPS, SEPA).
8. Collaborate with Business Users, Product owners, and technical teams to provide solutions for Business requirements within architecture guidelines. Break down complex Business requirements into simple, achievable user stories for development within Sprint timelines.
9. Address Application development issues promptly by collaborating with Business users and the development team to ensure quality deliverables within timelines.
10. Provide SIT & UAT support for User stories developed in Agile Sprints.
11. Act as a primary liaison between TPH and upstream/downstream systems.
12. Design architecture flow between upstream, downstream systems, and Payments Hub. Prepare detailed Specification documents for each interface.
13. Implement Straight Through Processing (STP) for Payments originating from Upstream systems and Cross-border payments to reduce manual intervention and improve processing time.

Essential Requirements (Skills)

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

· Experience: Minimum 18 years in T24 wealth products.

· Domain: At least 15 years in the financial/wealth banking domain, specifically in Private banking with exposure to Private Wealth products and lifecycle processing.

Good to Have

· Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello.

Technical / Professional Skills

• Proven experience in T24 Core Banking transformation or Temenos Wealth Suite projects, with a focus on Core Banking and Payments.
• Strong knowledge of T24 modules, Private Wealth Management, Treasury, and Payment modules.
• Experience with Trading and Order Management Systems, Trade Settlements.
• Successful track record in T24 Core Banking implementations.
