Job summary

Deloitte is expanding its Strategy, Risk, and Transaction practice in Southeast Asia and seeks a Manager to lead and mentor teams delivering regulatory and risk solutions for financial services clients.

You will oversee projects from planning to delivery, collaborate with clients, and drive business development while maintaining high standards of client service and professional integrity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Law, Business or Economics.
• Minimum 5 years in banking compliance, risk, AML, audit or regulatory affairs.
• FRM or ICA certifications preferred.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with keen attention to detail.

Work you will do

Deloitte is growing its Strategy, Risk, and Transaction (SR&T) – Regulatory & Financial Risk practice in Southeast Asia. We provide risk transformation, data and modeling solutions focusing on some of the unique and complex issues our clients are facing in finance. Advise our clients how to optimize compliance programs, standardize processes and transform compliance to protect their value across the business, while building great visibility, efficiency and confidence for the future.

You will work alongside our clients to bring a rigorous, evidence based analytical capability to help them solve pressing and complex issues. This includes revealing insight and delivering value through pragmatic and actionable recommendations. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our clients to understand the forces that are driving change, identifying opportunities and develop solutions across the whole organization.

The Nature Of The Work We Do Includes

• Advise clients in the financial services sector on regulatory compliance and risk management across a wide range of areas, including regulatory reporting.
• Participate in industry consultations on regulatory matters, develop solutions and value-added propositions, and bring these to market.
• Oversee in-house advisory, training, and knowledge management activities.
• Contribute input on global regulatory initiatives.
• Support audit engagement teams with regulatory compliance matters.
• Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Take ownership of the full project lifecycle, from planning to execution and successful delivery.
• Mentor and coach senior consultants, fostering leadership development, technical excellence, and career progression.
• Lead business development activities, including proposal writing, client pitches, and market expansion initiatives.

Requirements

• Possesses a degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Law, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in banking compliance, risk, AML, audit, or regulatory affairs and ideally within banking or financial services, with strong knowledge of financial markets and the banking industry.
• Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, ICA) are highly preferred.
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
