Job Description:

Corporate IT (CIT): CIT builds, operates, and maintains the IT systems and infrastructure necessary to enable a highly connected and collaborative workforce that helps power Visa's business. Within this organization, the Legal and Compliance Information Technology team supports full life-cycle delivery and ongoing support of strategic technology initiatives for the Legal and Compliance business units, and the global employee community. You will report to the engineering manager and work as an individual contributor participating in designing and development of software. This role will collaborate with business partners, multiple Visa IT teams, and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the test effort from planning to delivery. Develop effective test strategies.
• Write and contribute to test plans and/or test cases in medium to large-sized projects.
• Review Functional QA Test cases to identify automation opportunities and remove redundancy.
• Advocate and educate product/project teams on test design, automation framework use, and implementation.
• Work with those teams to evaluate test-ability of new features/implementations.
• Use your knowledge of testing in defining acceptance criteria and testability to influence better software design, promote best engineering practices, bug prevention strategies, and other quality attributes across products.
• Incorporate automated tests into our CI and CD deployment pipeline.
• Perform exploratory testing of new features and products.
• Provide feedback to Software Engineers and product managers to improve features and capabilities.
• Highlight and detail any risks and assumptions during projects.
• Engage in continuous improvement of testing practices focusing on speed, quality, and innovation.
• Build relationships with global and virtual teams on software development.

This is a hybrid position. Employees can alternate between remote and office work, expected to work from the office 2-3 days a week.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Preferred: 3-6 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or more than 2 years with an advanced degree.
• Excellent knowledge of open-source automation framework tools (Selenium, TestNG, etc.).
• Experience with Microsoft .Net core, C# coding.
• Experience with relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle, etc.).
• Proven experience with SQL, XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, XPath, JSON, SOAP/REST Web Services, and Web technologies.
• Experience with transport protocols including MQSC, WCF, FTPs, HTTPs, SMTP, LDAP.
• Strong API and UI automation, integration testing skills.
• Experience working effectively with business and IT staff across multiple locations in a multinational environment.
• Strong follow-through skills and ability to resolve complex system issues.
• Excellent problem-solving, analysis, and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly absorb and understand new technologies and practices.
• Customer-focused, relationship builder, team player.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
