Job summary

Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited is hiring a GTM Specialist Solutions Architect focused on startups and GenAI. You will engage CxO-level stakeholders, develop go-to-market programs, and align AWS tech with startup strategies.

This role requires deep cloud, ML, and consulting experience and offers leadership across global teams. The position emphasizes collaboration with product, field solution architect teams, and startup ecosystems to drive adoption and lighthouse wins.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application experience.
• 7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications.

Responsibilities

• Interact at the CxO/VP level to ease adoption, develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.
• Become a trusted advisor within startup founders through Technical Thought Leadership and demonstrate AWS values.
• Develop and deploy programs that leverage AWS Field Solution Architect teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels.
• Collaborate with AWS Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, and release plan.
• Guide and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to your domains. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate new AWS solutions into customer architectures.
• Build technical relationships with decision makers and builders with startups operating as their trusted advisor, ensuring they include best practices for adopting AWS AI services for their inferencing and agentic workloads.

The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth for Startups of all phases from seed to venture backed in series X. We work backwards from our customers’ most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. About The Team

The WWSO team helps customers adopt our newest and most advantageous technologies. We are technology specialists. The WWSO Startup team is a team dedicated to helping Startups scale quickly and cost-effectively on AWS. We want Startups to grow better when they choose AWS and we make it easier by recommending the right technologies and then by helping Startups get up and running quickly.

This position specifically is part of the WWSO Startup team, where you will be a Specialist Solution Architect that helps Startups adopt AWS’ technologies with a focus on GenAI, among others. You will 1/Be the best storytellers and technologists, 2/Work with the most promising Startups, 3/Scale tech knowledge via products, programs, and the AWS Field, and 4/Gather critical Startup feedback to inform our product roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application experience
• 7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Technical Executive capacity.
• Familiarity with open-source software used by Startups and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies common to Startups.
• Strong data-based storytelling skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with Startup executives and developers.
• Cloud expertise as demonstrated by one or more cloud certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Proficiency with design, deployment, and evaluation of LLM-powered agents and tools and orchestration approaches.
• Advanced degree highly preferred such as engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
