About the Role

Splunk Security Solution Architects serve as subject matter experts for Splunk Security products and provide expertise in the broader cybersecurity landscape. You’ll support Splunk account teams with technical and strategic guidance to build security solutions tailored to customer needs, while acting as a key advisor to improve our customers’ security resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients and partners.
• Collaborate with account teams to support sales strategies including briefings, demos, Proof of Values (POVs), integrations, and issue resolution.
• Engage with customers to understand their security goals and map Splunk solutions to address those priorities.
• Deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations of Splunk’s security products both onsite and virtually, as well as at conferences and trade shows.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs, providing both technical and functional input.
• Lead hands-on resolution of technical integration problems with Splunk security solutions.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams while exhibiting strong communication and presentation skills.
• Act as a field advocate for customer needs, offering feedback to influence product direction.

Requirements

• Splunk Certified Administrator or demonstrable ability to administer Splunk Enterprise and related solutions.
• 5+ years in pre-sales engineering, systems integration, or cybersecurity roles.
• Knowledge of security technologies including SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence, incident response, endpoint security, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with:
  • Operating Systems: Windows and Unix/Linux
  • Networking: Firewalls, Proxies, Routing, and Switching
  • Enterprise Software: Antivirus, Email, TIP, DBs, etc.
  • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Scripting: Python (preferred)
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, SANS GIAC, CISM
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of adapting to both technical and executive audiences.
• Self-driven, curious, collaborative, and committed to working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
