We are looking for a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY with the following requirements:
Requirements:
- At least 12 years of experience in project management within banking, financial, or consulting industries with a proven track record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage project risks and issues until closure.
- Excellent team leadership skills, capable of guiding teams to achieve project targets through formal and informal methods.
- Outstanding presentation skills, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders at the C level.
- Passionate, diligent, resilient, and able to thrive in ambiguous environments.
- Experience with Channels API Banking, including internet banking, mobile, API banking, and H2H knowledge is advantageous.
- Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile are preferred.
Key Domain/Technical Skills:
- Client onboarding experience, in roles such as product owner, manager, or T&O equivalent.
- Functional and technical experience with external API banking and regional API banking rollouts.
- Understanding of performance metrics and challenges from previous projects in banks, Fintech, or eCommerce organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Wholesale/Corporate API Banking:
- Manage large-scale API banking projects with multiple stakeholders across countries.
- Coordinate infrastructure setup to support API enhancements and track deliverables.
- Manage project scope, requirements, schedules, and risks, hosting weekly meetings and reporting issues.
- Plan client testing and commercialization, managing timelines and risks.
- Engage testing teams during SIT and UAT phases.
- Ensure process compliance and quality of deliverables.
- Overall Project Management:
- Oversee project quality, scope, timelines, effort, and resources.
- Develop and execute project plans, analyze proposals, and manage schedule and budget variances.
- Identify and schedule deliverables, milestones, and activities.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Work with Business Project Managers to manage stakeholder relationships and expectations.
- Scope and Governance:
- Manage scope changes, prepare investment approval documents, and facilitate governance meetings.
- Change and Risk Management:
- Lead change management efforts, risk mitigation, and escalation processes.
- Process Adherence and Reporting:
- Ensure methodology compliance, deliver artefacts on time, and report progress effectively.
- Client Focus:
- Drive decisions and outcomes with a client-centric approach.
