Position Summary:We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with expertise in Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead process design, optimization, and troubleshooting activities for ETP projects, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:1. Process Design and Optimization: Lead the design and development of effluent treatment processes and systems. Perform process simulations, mass balances, and hydraulic calculations. Optimize existing ETPs for improved efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.2. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians. Review and approve process engineering deliverables including equipment specifications, and technical reports. Conduct technical evaluations of equipment and technologies for ETP upgrades and expansions.3. Project Management: Manage ETP projects from conceptual design through commissioning and start-up. Develop project designs, schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers.4. Compliance and Safety: Ensure ETP designs comply with environmental regulations and safety standards. Collaborate with regulatory authorities and stakeholders for permitting and compliance requirements. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures during project execution.5. Troubleshooting and Continuous Improvement: Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions to resolve process inefficiencies. Conduct performance monitoring, data analysis, and recommend improvements for ETP operations. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize wastewater treatment processes.6. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical specifications, operation manuals, and as-built documentation for ETP systems. Generate progress reports, project updates, and presentations for management and clients.Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field (Masters degree preferred). 5-10 years proven work experience in process engineering with a focus on Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP). Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and technologies, chemical reactions, and water chemistry. Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes. Proficiency in process simulation & CAD tools. Experience in project management, including budgeting and scheduling. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
