Job Responsibilities:

You will be assisting in the section focusing on diagnostic molecular pathology primarily in the area of cancer and dealing with patient's tissue and cytology samples. The results will contribute to patient care in terms of diagnosis, therapeutic options and prognosis. You will also assist in the oversight of quality matters, operation, management and development of the Molecular Pathology section in the Department of Pathology at TTSH. There are opportunities for research collaboration.


Job Requirements:

  1. BSc or MSc in Biomedical Sciences, Life Science, Molecular Genetics or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in Molecular Pathology/ Molecular Biology / Histopathology Lab
  2. Experience in performing & assisting in interpreting results from high complexity molecular diagnostic techniques including next generation sequencing, genotyping, in fluorescent in situ hybridization technique and PCR.
  3. Experience in quality related matters in molecular pathology following the CAP standards is desirable.
  4. Must be scientifically vigorous, eager to learn and willing to work in a fast-paced, clinical environment
  5. Excellent communication skills
