Position Summary:

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Sr Material Handler and be part of a team that delivers world-class service in the handling of Clinical Trial Materials. This role ensures flawless execution in receipt, storage, packaging, and dispatch of materials, adhering strictly to established procedures and cGMP standards. You will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards and supporting our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform and supervise all operations processes in line with established procedures and cGMP standards.
  • Maintain outstanding housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
  • Complete regular reports as required by management or clients (e.g., MMR or equivalent experience report, GM Report, Billing Report).
  • Conduct investigations into non-conformance incidents for Problem Tracking (PR) in Trackwise.
  • Help in preparing or completing validation protocols during training.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and stock sufficiency as part of the Ops inventory team.
  • Serve as a trained Receiving, Returns and Destruction technician in the Incoming Team as needed.
  • Fulfill the role of a trained Outgoing/Distribution Team technician, including export shipment QC checks.
  • Perform as a trained Production team technician as assigned.
  • Drive continuous improvement in operational excellence through involvement in JDI/Kaizen/PPI projects and support the PPI culture.
  • Act as a backup for the Team Leader during their absence.
  • Assist management with new projects, ad hoc activities, or any other tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven 1 to 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
  • Diploma in supply chain/business management.
  • Comfortable to work in both cold room and freezer environment.
  • Experience in using Microsoft (Words/Excel) for data-entry.
  • Computer literate.
  • Knowledge of cGMP standards and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
