Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a client-facing Pre-Sales Solution Architect for Insurance to drive growth across Life, General, and Health insurance sectors in Asia. The role blends deep insurance domain expertise with cloud and enterprise architecture to shape winning solutions for new business opportunities.

You will lead solutioning activities, engage senior client stakeholders, and collaborate with Sales, Delivery, and security teams to craft compelling proposals and delivery roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution/enterprise architecture or pre-sales.
• Experience with software, cloud, managed services, outsourcing, or digital transformation.
• Insurance industry experience across Life, General, Health, or Group is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Account Teams to identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities within insurance clients.
• Lead solution design, architecture development, and technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and customer proposals.
• Conduct discovery workshops and engage senior client stakeholders to understand business and technology requirements.
• Design scalable cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, and modern enterprise technologies.
• Translate business requirements into compelling solution architectures, value propositions, and transformation roadmaps.
• Present and articulate DXC Insurance software platforms, BPS capabilities, and managed services offerings to clients.
• Develop solution estimates, assumptions, pricing inputs, and high-level delivery models.
• Collaborate with delivery, product, cloud, security, and industry teams to build integrated solutions.
• Support bid reviews, proposal defenses, customer presentations, and executive-level discussions.
• Provide thought leadership on insurance industry trends, modernization, cloud adoption, and digital transformation.
• Support transition and knowledge transfer activities to delivery teams following deal closure.

About the Role

DXC Technology is seeking a client-facing Pre-Sales Solution Architect to support business growth across the Insurance Software and BPS business in Asia. This role is responsible for engaging insurance clients, understanding business challenges, shaping technology solutions, and leading solutioning activities for new business opportunities. The successful candidate will combine deep insurance domain expertise with strong cloud and enterprise architecture experience to develop winning solutions and support strategic pursuits across Life, General, and Health Insurance customers.

Key Responsibilities

Required Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Consulting, or Pre-Sales roles.
• Experience supporting software, cloud, managed services, outsourcing, or digital transformation engagements.
• Prior experience within the Insurance industry, including Life, General, Health, or Group Insurance.
• Strong understanding of insurance business processes, policy administration systems, claims platforms, underwriting, and customer servicing.
• Experience engaging senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Proven track record supporting complex pursuits, bids, and client solution presentations.
• Experience working in regional or multinational environments.

Technical Skills

• Cloud architecture expertise in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Enterprise application architecture and integration design.
• Knowledge of APIs, microservices, cloud-native architectures, containerization, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with enterprise technologies such as Java, .NET, REST APIs, databases, and middleware platforms.
• Understanding of security, scalability, resilience, and performance considerations in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of insurance platforms and core insurance technologies is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• AWS, Azure, TOGAF, or equivalent architecture certifications.
• Experience working with insurance software vendors, system integrators, consulting firms, or insurance technology providers.
• Experience supporting regional insurance customers across ASEAN and Asia Pacific.
