Sr Insurance Specialist - Bancassurance Sales, WM

Job Summary: Reporting to the Cluster head, the position is responsible for managing the sale of Life Insurance products to the Bank's clientele across channels and cities in the region. The focus is on analyzing and satisfying customers' financial and insurance needs and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Generate new business to meet sales and revenue targets.
  2. Maintain in-depth product knowledge and compare similar products from other companies.
  3. Create and manage an effective Sales Tracker to monitor activity levels.
  4. Enhance sales quality and ratios through training and development.
  5. Provide timely MIS related to business leads, issued business, product mix, lapsation, etc.
  6. Coordinate regularly with Insurance Company representatives.
  7. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and proper documentation.
  8. Handle sales and relationship management, with experience in the financial industry as an advantage.
  9. Possess strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  10. Focus on internal customer satisfaction and service.
  11. Be IRDA certified before servicing or closing leads.

Governance and Conduct: Demonstrate exemplary conduct, adhere to the Group's Values and Code of Conduct, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate risks and compliance issues.

Qualifications: Minimum graduation required.

Technical Competencies: Insurance, Bancassurance, Product knowledge.
