Qualifications:
- Degree in Mass Communications, Digital Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related fields.
Experience:
- At least 5 years' experience in communications, public relations, media management, marketing, content creation, or similar roles; experience in a corporate, agency, or production house preferred.
- Healthcare industry experience is desirable but not mandatory.
- The candidate will serve as a content creator-cum-media officer at NHG Health, responsible for producing engaging stories in digital and offline formats to promote NHG Health's brand as Regional Health Manager, Integrated Care Provider, and Academic Health System. Skills in conceptualizing and creating short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook are essential. Experience in content campaigns is advantageous.
- The role includes managing NHG Health's reputation through media relations, writing press releases, speeches, and talking points; developing media stories; arranging briefings, interviews, and visits; handling inquiries; and analyzing social media and media activity success.
Requirements:
- Strong command of English and a second language (e.g., Malay, Chinese, Tamil), both written and spoken.
- Proven success in developing and executing social and digital campaigns independently.
- Proficiency in graphic design and videography.
- Experience in media management.
- Ability to multitask, adapt, and work under pressure within tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Meticulous, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator), Capcut, Social Bee, Final Cut, and other editing software.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Content planning, creation, and coordination.
- Recommending and producing content ideas for NHG Health's social and digital platforms.
- Providing communication support for key events.
- Editing, copywriting, and proofreading.
- Designing and editing video and editorial content according to publication standards.
- Managing social media and content calendars.
- Executing public relations initiatives, including writing press releases, speeches, and talking points.
- Managing media relations, developing media stories, arranging briefings, interviews, and visits, and responding to media queries and public inquiries.
- Building and maintaining positive media relations.
