Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE. LTD. seeks a NAND Reliability Product Engineer to define and safeguard extrinsic/intrinsic reliability of NAND Flash products.

You will perform high‑volume data analysis, electrical failure analysis, and work with cross‑functional teams to prevent escapes to customers. This role offers technical ownership at the intersection of device physics, circuits, process technology, and product engineering, with visibility across development and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Knowledge of Semiconductor Reliability and NAND Technology.
• Understanding of design, device physics, circuits, and process.
• Strong statistical analysis, communication, and problem solving.
• Experience with AI tools and data analysis (Python, JMP, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Define and implement NAND Flash reliability test flows to assess product reliability.
• Perform high-volume statistical data analysis on NAND DPM and intrinsic reliability risks.
• Drive electrical failure analysis with advanced characterization to identify root causes.
• Develop short-term countermeasures using stresses and screens in circuits/process.
• Qualify products with control measures for best-in-class DPM and cell reliability.
• Collaborate with Fab, NAND Technology, Design, Product Development, System Development, and Quality teams.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness daily.
• Promote continuous improvement by sharing AI-enabled enhancements.
• Apply digital and AI literacy for research, analysis, and problem solving.
• Support customer inquiries with technical reliability insights.
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance the reliability program.

Job description

As a NAND Reliability Product Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, evaluating, and safeguarding the Extrinsic/Intrinsic reliability of Micron’s NAND Flash products. You will work hands‑on with large‑scale data analysis, electrical failure analysis, and cross‑functional teams to ensure robust product reliability and prevent escapes to customers.

This role offers deep technical ownership at the intersection of device physics, circuits, process technology, and product engineering, with strong visibility across development and manufacturing organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement NAND Flash reliability test flows to assess product reliability performance and prevent extrinsic/intrinsic reliability escapes.
• Perform high‑volume statistical data analysis to evaluate NAND DPM/ intrinsic reliability risks and trends.
• Drive electrical failure analysis, including advance characterization, to identify root causes and solution spaces.
• Develop short‑term countermeasures such as targeted stresses and screens, applying knowledge of digital/analog circuits, device physics, and process engineering.
• Qualify the product with innovative control measures to provide best in Class DPM and Cell reliability.
• Collaborate closely with Fab, NAND Technology, NAND Design, Product Development, System Development, and Quality/Reliability teams to develop solutions and enable shipment of high‑quality end products.
• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency androle‑appropriate AIliteracy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
• Support customer inquiries and provide technical insights related to product reliability.
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance the overall reliability program and influence the direction of future product development.

Qualifications And Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with of relevant experience inElectrical Engineeringor related field
