Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a maintenance lead to drive on-site Smart Facility transformations and manage Instrumentation & Control systems within Facilities.

You will plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance while coordinating with internal teams and external service providers. The role focuses on troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to ensure reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in proficient knowledge of PLC, Instrumentation and SCADA systems.
• 3+ years in maintenance practices and control system installation work.

Responsabilités

• Lead on site Smart Fac transformation and implement Smart fac projects in collaboration with Micron sites/departments.
• Plan, schedule and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance on Instrumentation & Control systems under Facilities.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement.

Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.Job Responsibilities:Lead on site Smart Fac transformation and on implementation of Smart fac projects in collaboration with other Micron sites/Departments/sectionsPlan, schedule and supervise Projects, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance work activities on Instrumentation & Control system under the responsibilities of Facilities organizationLead troubleshooting and attend to abnormalities in support of Operations in a timely manner on system under the responsibilities of Facilities organization, when requiredLead and participate in equipment and system abnormalities root cause analysis, attend review meeting and provide update, then execute corrective and preventive action for continual improvement, this include installation and modification work on existing or new mechanical equipment and Instrumentation & Control systemSupport engineering and tool install on system capabilities analysis during scenario evaluationsManage out sourced contract service provider to perform work activities in accordance to service agreementUtilize computer base software to document and analyses records of work order and equipment historyMaintain equipment and system maintenance record for work history traceabilityAcquire estimated cost and raise purchase requisition for service or parts necessary for repair and maintenance purpose, when requiredTrack and monitor equipment spare parts and consumable inventoryAdhere to company’s environmental safety health policy and procedure, standard operating procedure with risk assessment, good housekeeping standard and quality policy when performing workReport and follow through work related injury and near miss to supervisor and actively participate in safety incident investigationAttend safety training and safety committee meeting, when requiredAttend classroom, computer-base training, skill certification and on-the-job training to acquire skill to performance job functionGuide, coach and certify maintenance team through classroom and site training, when requiredLead morning tool box meeting, organize and attend department and other organization meeting when requiredLead documentation in Standard Operating Procedure, Risk Assessment and Energy Isolation ProcedureGenerate and maintain Scope-of-Work documentation for out sourced contract serviceReview Preventive and Corrective Maintenance work performance, recommend and implement continual improvement through new work method, procedure and spare or consumable partsAttend Emergency Response Team training, certification, drill and incident, when requiredAI Responsibilities:Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.Requirements :Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer engineering and equivalent experience.At least 3 years of experience in proficient and knowledge in PLC, Instrumentation and SCADA systemsAt least 3 years of experience in maintenance practices and procedure and control system (PLC, Gas Detection, Instrumentation) installation workProficient and knowledge on Python, Java, C/C++, SQL is preferredProficient in Microsoft officeGood problem solving skill and understand data analysis methodologyGood knowledge of various handheld tool, portable and panel measuring device and equipmentAbility to understand and use schematic, single-line drawing and related equipment and system documentationAbility to work in a team environment with various professional levelAI Requirements:Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomesAbout Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
