You are a candidate with a proven ability to lead by influence, delivering modern, large-scale, complex services and products with the highest levels of security and reliability. Your role involves leading multiple diverse technical teams and closely collaborating with program and product teams.Your primary mission is to provide hands-on leadership to the Visa Acceptance Platform (VAP) portfolio, focusing on Billing-as-a-Service capabilities. You will define, execute, and deliver functional and non-functional features at scale quickly, fostering a culture of cross-functional collaboration and engineering excellence. As a Senior Director in Acceptance Solutions, you will lead engineering teams to deliver high-quality features, fostering innovation, setting engineering standards, and developing cutting-edge products.You will drive the design, implementation, and deployment of secure and reliable products, ensuring alignment with platform principles and standards of availability. Leveraging AI/ML technologies, you will bring productivity across software development lifecycle phases and develop innovative business solutions. Your role involves partnership with product and regional teams, leading a multi-disciplinary team, nurturing talent, and ensuring strong program management and governance practices.You are expected to have 18+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's or Advanced degree, along with 15+ years of experience in leading product development using technologies like Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Angular, MySQL, REST, and more. Additionally, you should have extensive experience in designing and deploying scalable distributed applications, a good understanding of AI/ML initiatives, and experience with agile methodologies and software development lifecycle principles.Your success will be demonstrated by your ability to drive measurable improvements, lead high-performing engineering teams, foster innovation, and maintain a focus on win-win outcomes.
