Clinical Informatics Analyst

JOB PURPOSE

Support the implementation and adoption of clinical information systems, governance, and processes that facilitate optimal patient care delivery.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme Management/Delivery
  • Participate in programme management activities including requirements analysis, functional testing, system implementation, user/trainer training, and coordination with IT partners for ongoing support.
  • Support the NGEMR project by translating business needs into requirements, developing training and change management materials, and providing post-training support.
  • Monitor content build changes, issues, and training status, ensuring progress against goals.
  • Provide administrative support for project meetings and workgroups.
Process Engineering
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the Informatics Service and related programmes.
  • Maintain policies and procedures, such as training administration protocols.
Product Value Creation
  • Assist in system design, content development, maintenance, and testing.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education/Training/Experience
  • Healthcare or IT Business Analysts interested in process improvement and programme management to enhance healthcare support.
  • A degree in Healthcare, IT, Computer Science, or Business Analytics from a recognized university.
  • Certification in Clinical Informatics or Health Informatics (e.g., AMIA 10x10, CAHIMS, CPHIMS) is advantageous.
  • Relevant experience in project/programme management or healthcare IT training is preferred.

  • Excellent organizational, management, and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to initiate, deliver, and complete projects independently.
