Job description

    As a Senior Associate - Credit & Risk Monitoring with an impact-focused, RBI registered Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) based in Bangalore, your primary responsibility will be to lead the end-to-end monitoring of portfolio companies. This includes conducting field visits, head office reviews, data analysis, covenant compliance tracking, and preparing monitoring notes and presentations for the Monitoring Committee. You will also oversee and validate the work of Monitoring Analysts and Associates, ensuring accuracy in financial models, industry analysis, compliance reports, and monitoring documentation.Your role will require a good understanding of credit underwriting and financial analysis to facilitate overseeing monitoring-related reports and disbursement notes. Furthermore, you will participate in senior management meetings regarding credit proposals as needed. Engaging directly with senior management of portfolio companies to understand business performance, challenges, and risk outlooks will be crucial to your success in this position.Additionally, you will conduct deep-dive sectoral and macroeconomic research to support portfolio risk analysis and identify early warning signals or stress factors. Driving portfolio-level monitoring frameworks, collaborating with various teams, and coordinating with Business and Finance and Account teams for recovery of dues from DPD clients are also part of your responsibilities. You will support strategic initiatives such as portfolio reviews, policy updates, and enhancements to monitoring tools and frameworks.Ideally, you should have 5-8 years of relevant experience in credit monitoring, portfolio management, or risk analysis in an NBFC, scheduled commercial bank, or debt fund. Strong technical skills in accounting, financial statement analysis, and credit evaluation will be advantageous. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, along with the willingness to extensively travel across the country for client visits, are also desirable traits for this role.This position offers a CTC of Rs. 12-18 LPA based on the last drawn salary. The location of this role is in Bangalore.,
