Job description

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the business development process by leveraging your technical and subject matter expertise. Your responsibilities will include identifying, qualifying, and developing new opportunities, as well as contributing to proposal development for new projects. Your knowledge and expertise in technology/SME disciplines will be recognized within project teams, and you will support implementation decisions to ensure correct and accurate estimates for technology projects.You will also be involved in supporting the development of solutions and estimates, leveraging your industry standard knowledge to design proposed solutions. Additionally, you will demonstrate leadership in at least one IT discipline, applying your expertise to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer requirements. Your communication skills will be essential as you interface with mid-level client leadership, providing technical presentations within your area of expertise.As part of the service delivery aspect of the role, you will be proficient in solution architecture, design, development, testing, configuration, deployment, and maintenance in your area of expertise. You will review solution artifacts and plans, establish relationships with third-party companies and project teams, and contribute to the successful delivery of solutions. Keeping up-to-date with information technology trends and incorporating them into your work will be crucial for your success.To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 8 years of experience in technical disciplines or equivalent. Your prior work experience should include supporting new business development, interacting with clients in different industries, and contributing to multi-disciplined project teams. Industry certifications in your expertise area will be beneficial.Key Responsibilities:- Leading a team of Unisys associates or contractors to meet critical deliverables- Providing analytical support in the development of enterprise systems, networks, or application software- Defining specifications for software programming applications and modifying existing applications- Coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining software applications- Analyzing requirements, integrating application components, and ensuring successful system improvements- Developing client support plans for major projects- Furthering expertise in delivery management or technical skills in architectureKey Qualifications:- University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years in application support or domain expertise- Good exposure to Salesforce CRM landscape- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal- Knowledge of Azure & TFS Agile process- Ability to create and maintain Test Strategy/Plan- Experience in Web API, functional and performance testing- Familiarity with automated testing tools and creation of test harness- Experience in creation/automation of large dynamic test data sets in a CI/CD environment- Interaction with DevOps team for integration with CI/CD pipelines- Exposure to automation toolsUnisys is committed to providing equal opportunities for all job seekers.
