Job Title: Senior Accounts Manager CA Qualified (Automobile Industry)

Location: Banjarahills/Towlichowki

Department: Accounts

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer / Head of Accounts

Experience: 6-10 years (preferably with at least 3-5 years in the automobile industry)

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Manager who is CA qualified with a proven track record in the automobile industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing internal controls, and providing strategic insights to drive financial performance. This is a key leadership role contributing to the financial health and efficiency of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage end-to-end accounting functions, including AP/AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and inventory accounting.
  2. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and ensure timely financial reporting as per statutory and management requirements.
  3. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory filings and audits.
  4. Develop and monitor financial controls and ensure robust internal audit mechanisms are in place.
  5. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis; support decision-making through data-driven insights.
  6. Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.
  7. Drive digital finance transformation initiatives and ERP implementation/improvement (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, etc.).
  8. Mentor and guide junior finance team members.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8-12 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the automobile industry (OEM or Tier 1 preferred).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Hands-on experience in handling audits (Statutory, Internal, Tax, etc.).
  • Exposure to MIS reporting and financial modelling.
