A leading company in technology seeks an engineer for sputter equipment operations. Your role will involve installing and maintaining sputter systems while managing projects, troubleshooting issues and collaborating in a structured manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates should have a degree in engineering and at least three years of relevant experience.
About our group:
Recording Media Operations (RMO) Sputter Equipment Engineering team – Be responsible to engineer solutions in the field of mechanical, electrical/electronics, PLC, software & controls, and advanced analytic system, and provide technical & engineering support to enhance ultra-high vacuum (UHV) sputter machines with upgrades to improve OEE, unscheduled/scheduled downtime, operations, process capabilities, indirect material (IDM)/hardware/consumables cost reduction, productivity, new product conversion requirements & readiness, media performance and defects reduction.
About the role – you will:
Install, upgrade and maintain the sputter system.
Project manage any projects assigned within stipulated schedule.
Troubleshooting and rework for both mechanical and electrical issues.
Involve in any technical meetings/discussion.
Generate reports – daily updates, issues, Closed Loop Corrective Action (CLCA).
Collaborate closely with cross functional teams on improvements and reliability enhancements.

Your experience includes:
Bachelor in Engineering or any relevant fields with 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience in installing and maintaining high vacuum CVD/PVD systems in a cleanroom environment.
Excellent troubleshooting capabilities.
Knowledge of Thin Film / PVD / CVD / Etch / Ion Beam / Ion Implantation / Ultra-High Vacuum tool is an added advantage.
