Job summary

A Singapore-based engineering firm is seeking a qualified individual to develop and maintain dimensional and non-dimensional drawings. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in engineering, at least 5 years of experience in the fire protection industry, and proficiency in AutoCad, along with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the fire protection & fire safety industry.
• Proficient in AutoCad.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dimensional drawings for layouts and non-dimensional drawings.
• Revise drawings based on instructions/comments from engineers in compliance with Fire Code 2023.
• Conduct site visits and required measurements.
• Develop computer-generated drawings, details, plans, schedules, and data sheets.
• Involved in coordination and preparation of specifications for technical drawings.
• Maintain good document control and filings for efficient plan preparation.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dimensional drawings for layouts and non-dimensional drawings.
• Revise drawings based on instructions/comments from engineers in compliance with Fire Code 2023 and the relevant SS codes.
• Conduct site visits and required measurements.
• Develop computer–generated drawings, cable detection drawings, fire protection isometrics, details, plans, schedules and data sheets.
• Perform other related work duties instructed by supervisor.
• Involved in coordination and preparation of specification to liaise with Project Managers and Engineers for technical drawings and submission approval.
• Maintain good document control and filings to be efficient in plan preparation.
