Duties and Responsibilities

Daily

• Carry out all work in accordance to paint refinishing steps using specified products.
• Perform paint rectification work through putty, wet/dry-sanding on new and old paint applications.
• Perform spray painting on vehicle panels, parts and components as directed.
• Ensure and maintain a consistently high quality of work on vehicles before leaving the work place.
• Deliver work within stipulated repair time.
• Carry out spray paint or rectification work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Give maximum care to vehicle using exterior and interior masking/protective covers (including floor and seats).
• For trained and assigned personnel:
• Perform colour tinting based on specified colour code and formula.
• Perform colour matching on new and old paint applications.

General

• Participate and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
• Wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) during work.
• Maintain work bay(s) and Bodyshop areas in clean and orderly condition. Return all tools and equipment to their designated locations after use.
• Maintain Bodyshop tools and equipment (shared and personal issue) in good and working condition.
• Maintain and follow standards & requirements according to Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies.
• Report abnormal and unsafe Bodyshop condition to direct superior for corrective and preventive action.
• Report any broken or missing tool or equipment to direct superior for replacement and/or replenishment.
• Be a team player and render assistance to colleagues where necessary.
• Assist in other company’s requirement when directed and work within the authority of the position.

Kindly note this role offers alternate Saturdays off.
