Job summary

heal360 Physioclinic in Singapore is seeking a motivated Sports Trainer to design and supervise personalised exercise and rehabilitation programmes within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. You will guide patients through strength, mobility, balance and conditioning exercises to enhance recovery and performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant sports science or fitness field.
• Experience as a sports trainer, personal trainer, rehabilitation trainer, or fitness coach is an advantage.
• CPR/AED certification is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage patients.

Responsibilities

• Design and supervise personalised exercise and rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual patient needs.
• Guide patients through strength, mobility, balance, flexibility, and conditioning exercises to enhance recovery and performance.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists to support rehabilitation programmes for chronic diseases, musculoskeletal, and sports injuries.
• Motivate patients to safely achieve rehabilitation and fitness goals through effective coaching and encouragement.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates clearly with the clinical team to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, proper exercise techniques, and healthy lifestyle habits to promote long-term wellness.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised rehabilitation gym and treatment area to support effective therapy sessions.
• Assist with conducting fitness assessments and movement screenings to inform personalised exercise plans.
• Support clinic events, wellness programmes, and community outreach activities to promote health and fitness awareness.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Sports Science, Exercise Science, Sports & Exercise Medicine, Kinesiology, Strength & Conditioning, Fitness, or related discipline
• Experience as a Sports Trainer, Personal Trainer, Rehabilitation Trainer, Exercise Physiologist, or Fitness Coach is an advantage
• CPR/AED certification is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Positive, energetic, and motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
