Dulwich College (Singapore) is seeking a Sports Coach in August 2025 to assist in the delivery of sport at the College by coaching and teaching students in both curriculum and extra-curricular lessons and sports teams, whilst contributing to the administration of the sports provision across the College, with specific responsibility for administering the hosting of sports festivals and leading school tours.
The duties and responsibilities of the role are:
Leading one of the major sports in the College specifically: Football, Basketball, or athletics development.
Coaching and supporting the teaching of the students at Dulwich College (Singapore), specialising in the delivery of the area of expertise; the successful candidate will also be comfortable delivering a range of different sports in the curriculum.
Reporting feedback to parents and students where appropriate, writing reports and attending parents evenings. Command of excellent written and spoken English is essential.
Running the CCAs and sports teams in the area of specialisation at the College and any others that are appropriate and where the demand is.
Leading the coach education for the area of specialisation across the College.
Helping in the administration of sports tours and festivals for the students at the College.
Liaising with the sports administrator to ensure the smooth running of the sports fixtures and CCA provision.
Assist the Sports Administrator in the coordination of the CCA Sports programme, helping to plan the season’s sport.
Liaising with the Sports Communication Administrator to help coordinate sports trips and festivals, ensuring students are engaged in safe, well organised festivals, tours and tournaments, both those hosted at the College and those outside.
Assist in the booking of all officials for home matches and liaise internally with other departments, liaising with HR to ensure that all relevant safeguarding and vetting checks are in place.
All other duties commensurate with the role.
What we are looking for:
Degree or Diploma in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field (preferred).
Certified coaching qualifications in one or more of the major sports (Football, Basketball, Athletics, etc.).
Experience coaching school-age students in a school or club setting.
Knowledge of sports administration (fixtures, events, and team management).
First Aid Certification (not a must but good to have).
Ability to mentor and develop student-athletes at different skill levels.
Strong organizational skills to manage teams, events, and schedules.
Passion for student development & sports.
Team player with adaptability to different sports programs.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for matches and events.
