Sport Massage Therapist

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' needs and develop treatment plans.
• Perform massage therapy techniques to address muscle tension, pain, and injuries.
• Provide education and advice on injury prevention and rehabilitation.
• Assist physical therapists in providing client care.
• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a physical therapist.
• Perform exercises, stretches, and other therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Proficiency in various massage techniques (e.g., deep tissue, sports massage).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess and evaluate patients' needs.

Education/Training

• Completion of a massage therapy program or relevant training.
• Obtain necessary certifications or licenses.
• Relevant experience in sports massage or related fields.
