Job description

Location: Tanjong Pagar

Working Hours: 42hrs/Week

Job Scope:

  • Monitor and maintain Splunk system daily to ensure smooth operation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Splunk-related issues.
  • Onboard new log/data sources from MAS systems into Splunk.
  • Create, update, and manage dashboards, alerts, and reports.
  • Fine-tune Splunk configurations for optimal performance.
  • Assist with upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
  • Ensure compliance with MAS’s security requirements.
  • Provide technical advice and Splunk best practices.
  • Support and train MAS staff in Splunk usage when required.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations and troubleshooting activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant IT experience, with at least 2 years hands-on Splunk administration experience.
  • Experience in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Strong knowledge of Splunk Enterprise administration and configuration.
  • Skilled in creating dashboards, alerts, and reports in Splunk.
  • Familiarity with onboarding and parsing data from different sources.
  • Linux/Unix system administration.
  • Splunk Certified Power User / Splunk Certified Admin.
