Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to general or complex speech and swallowing challenges.
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to junior therapists while supporting service audits and performance enhancement.
  • Support department planning, including staff deployment, coverage, and rehabilitation service refinement.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to implement care protocols and track outcome improvements.
  • Contribute to staff growth initiatives such as clinical training, drills, competency reviews, and case discussions.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Communication Disorders or equivalent.
  • Fully accredited with the local professional board for Allied Health (AHPC).
  • Over 3 years of hands-on experience in a community rehabilitation or long-term care setting.
  • Proficient in common office tools and confident in leading initiatives that enhance care quality.

Salary: $3,500 to $4,500
