Job description

We’re Hiring: Paediatric Speech Therapist
Make a Difference, One Child and One Family at a Time!

Are you passionate about helping children find their voice and reach their potential? We are looking for a caring and motivated Speech Therapist to join our team, providing clinic-based therapy for infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents aged 1–16 years.

We believe that every child is unique and that families are essential partners in a child's development. Our approach focuses on understanding each family's concerns, working towards meaningful goals, and empowering caregivers with practical strategies to support their child's progress in everyday life.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech, language, communication, and developmental assessments to identify each child's strengths and areas of need.
  • Plan and deliver individualised, engaging, and developmentally appropriate therapy sessions.
  • Work closely with parents and caregivers to establish meaningful goals based on the child's and family's priorities.
  • Empower families through caregiver coaching, practical strategies, and home-based activities to support progress beyond the clinic.
  • Monitor children's progress and adapt therapy plans according to their evolving needs.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, assessment reports, and progress records.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals where appropriate to support each child's overall development.
  • Create a warm, safe, and supportive environment where children and families feel heard, understood, and encouraged.
Requirements
  • Degree qualification in Speech and Language Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology and AHPC full registration.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting families.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to therapy.
  • Experience in paediatric therapy is an advantage; enthusiastic early-career therapists are welcome to apply.
Who We’re Looking For

Someone who believes therapy goes beyond the clinic session — a therapist who values family partnerships, celebrates every milestone, and is passionate about making a meaningful difference in children's everyday lives.

If you share our vision of helping children thrive through individualised, family-centred care, we would love to hear from you!
