About the Role

ATOP Academy is looking for committed and knowledgeable Principles of Accounts (POA) Specialists to join our teaching team. In this role, you will deliver engaging, exam-oriented lessons for Secondary or JC students based on the MOE syllabus. You will play a pivotal part in helping students build strong foundations in accounting concepts and apply them confidently in assessments and real-world contexts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver structured and interactive POA lessons tailored to different learning levels.
  • Prepare lesson plans, exercises, and assessment tools that reinforce key accounting principles.
  • Track student progress and provide clear, actionable feedback for improvement.
  • Inspire interest and confidence in accounting through relatable examples and practical applications.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians when necessary to share student updates and strategies for progress.
  • Support curriculum enhancements and contribute to academic enrichment initiatives.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university, preferably from a Singapore local government university (e.g., NUS, NTU, SMU, SUSS, SIT, SUTD) or equivalent.
  • Strong academic background in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with the Singapore MOE POA syllabus.
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring students in accounting.
  • Responsible, engaging, and adaptable with excellent communication skills.
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage.
