About the opportunity

  • Track and evaluate public policy and regulatory issues that may have an impact on foodpanda’s business objectives and verticals. Key topics include the gig economy, digitisation, labour, competition, sustainability, and more.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of foodpanda’s strategy on public policy and regulatory issues, including supporting industry association activities
  • Develop supporting materials for advocacy and engagements in collaboration with the regional and global teams
  • Expand foodpanda’s network among government regulators and other stakeholders, including but not limited to academia, NGOs/CSOs, business associations
  • Be a strong and dependable partner for foodpanda teams, such as PR, legal, operations, marketing, and commercial

What you need to be successful

  • At least 2 years of demonstrated experience managing public policy and/or government relations and advocacy work
  • Experience working and engaging with policymakers, NGOs/CSOs, academia and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Singapore’s political system, environment and institutions
  • Ability to exercise strong judgement and problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional, multi-cultural environment
  • Experience in policy work for a multinational corporation or government preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
