Job summary

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and resourceful Specialist in Estate Management & Sustainability to support the management and upkeep of our client facilities while championing their sustainability goals. This dual-focused role offers the opportunity to contribute to both operational excellence in estate management and long-term environmental initiatives across corporate and data centre environments. If you’re hands-on, proactive, and passionate about sustainable development, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

Estate Management:

  • Assist in managing building and office premises to ensure functionality, safety, and efficiency
  • Oversee service providers, contractors, and vendors for quality assurance and contract compliance
  • Recommend and manage improvement and rectification works
  • Lead renovation and improvement projects
  • Conduct risk assessments and building inspections to identify potential issues
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Perform daily inspections and defect checks
  • Supervise contractors during rectification works
  • Respond to feedback and service requests from stakeholders
  • Be available for work on weekends or after office hours as needed
  • Respond to urgent situations on short notice
  • Be hands-on and operationally involved when required

Sustainability:

  • Promote sustainability goals and integrate them into all decision-making processes
  • Develop systems to enhance sustainability reporting and information sharing
  • Track corporate sustainability metrics and goals; analyze data and generate regular reports
  • Conduct audits to gather insights and improve sustainability performance
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in sustainability

Skill Set Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Good interpersonal skills with a keen eye for detail and a strong desire to learn
  • Ability to work well with contractors and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, proactive mindset, and resourceful approach
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with local and international standards such as, BCA Green Mark (for Buildings and Data Centres), SS564 (Green Data Centre), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System)
  • Fire Safety Manager Certification will be an added advantage

  • Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building, or a related discipline
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in estate management and sustainability functions
