Job description

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Doctor in Pediatrics, Respiratory Medicine, or Cardiology to join our medical team in Singapore. This role involves delivering high-quality clinical care while serving as a key medical liaison for Japanese-speaking patients and families to ensure accurate diagnosis, treatment, and communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist medical consultation, diagnosis, and treatment in your field of expertise (Pediatrics / Respiratory Medicine / Cardiology).
  • Manage inpatient and outpatient care, including investigations, treatment plans, and follow-ups.
  • Communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking patients and families to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation and patient records.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore healthcare regulations, clinical protocols, and patient safety standards.
  • Participate in continuous medical education, training, and hospital/clinic quality initiatives.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Registered and licensed with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
  • Completed specialist training and fellowship in Pediatrics, Respiratory Medicine, or Cardiology.
  • Proven clinical experience in your specialty area.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English (spoken and written), as the role involves direct communication with Japanese-speaking patients and families.
